The ability to support higher frequencies allows CAT7 Ethernet cable to carry more data and support frequencies of up to 600Mhz. This cable offers extensive shielding to reduce signal attenuation and is relatively stiff in comparison to previous generations of cabling. This shielding needs to be grounded and requires special RJ-45 Grounded connectors.
